A programming course featuring Ozobot is now available as part of the online computer courses of the remote support services by Nippon
Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation (NTT West).  An appointment-only, person-to-person-basis course, it allows the student to
learn block programming at his/her own pace, enjoying the course with the instructor.  Starting from October 1, 2018, Castalia Co., Ltd.
(Castalia, registered headquarters: Nagano, Japan / headquarters: Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Satoshi Yamawaki) offers an online programming
course for elementary school students featuring Ozobot as part of NTT West’s remote support services.

This course is offered as an additional course of the online computer courses, which is available as an optional service for NTT West
customers who have signed for its remote support services.  The course consists of a total of seven 60-minute lessons.  Based on the
online programming education service developed by Castalia, the curriculum allows the students, even those who have never
experienced programming before, enjoy the entire learning process from programming using stickers to the basics of block programming.

One major feature of this course is that it offers person-to-person lessons where the student is engaged in close communications
with the instructor.  In addition, the course is available even during weekends;  student can make an appointment of each lesson
anytime between 9am and 9pm according to his/her schedule and learning pace, which allows him/her to comfortably proceed
with the studies.

[Ozobot 2.0 bit]

Ozobot is a series of small-size robots developed by Evollve Inc. (headquarters: California, USA) in 2014.   It has a “line tracing” function
that allows Ozobot to automatically trace the lines drawn on paper or tablet devices, as well as the “OzoCodes”, a series of commands
made from combinations of colors that are read and executed as “turn right” or “pause”, for example.  “Ozoblockly”, a tool to program
Ozobot, is capable of combining blocks online and have Ozobot at its command in accordance with the combination of the blocks.
