Feasibility study in Senegal reported at Innovation Arabia 8, an event focusing on innovations in the Arab world 2015-02-17
Castalia Co. Ltd. (headquarters: Tokyo, Japan / CEO: Satoshi Yamawaki, hereinafter “Castalia”) made a presentation in “Innovation Arabia 8”, which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 16-18, 2015.
“Innovation Arabia 8” was an event held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMSU (Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University). This year, under the main theme of “Innovate, Collaborate, and Differentiate: Honouring the Past, Treasuring the Present, and Shaping the Future”, a variety of presentations were made with regards to the innovations in the Arab world, focusing on four fields, namely “e-Learning Excellence”, “Quality and Business Management”, “Health and Environment”, and “Islamic Banking and Finance”.
Castalia was selected as the sole presenting company from Japan; CEO Satoshi Yamawaki and consultant Atsushi Inutsuka made a presentation entitled “Smartphone-based learning for Afro-Arab professional development”. They reported on Castalia’s feasibility studies that had taken place in ISM (Institut Supérieur de Management), a business school in Dakar, Senegal, with regards to “goocus pro”, our mobile learning platform, and also presented “goocus 3”, which will be released this coming spring.
